The best kids activity on Hilton Head, full stop. Before you even board, the crew transforms little ones into full pirates with face painting, temporary tattoos, and pirate names. Then you set sail on the Black Sparrow in search of treasure. Stinky Pete has stolen the key and it's your crew's job to defeat him. The water cannons are the highlight: kids absolutely lose their minds getting to blast Stinky Pete until he hands over the treasure. The crew is incredible with children, keeping them engaged and part of the action the entire time. We did it with friends and every single child had a wonderful time. Best suited for ages 2 to 10. Book in advance, especially in summer. This one fills up fast.

Two-person motorized boats that you actually captain yourself at speeds up to 30 mph, guided by a local expert through over 25 miles of Hilton Head's creeks, marshes, and waterways. You'll pass the Harbour Town Lighthouse, cruise along Daufuskie Island, and get into smaller backwater areas that larger boats simply cannot reach. Dolphin sightings are common. Expect to get wet. Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid license. On my list to do and will update with a full review once I've done it.
