One of my most-used Disney items. A heavy-duty carabiner clip that attaches to your stroller handle or backpack. Hang your diaper bag, souvenir bags, water bottle, or your Disney popcorn bucket so you don't have to carry it all day. Once you use one at Disney you'll wonder how you ever managed without it. We bring two.

A stroller fan is non-negotiable at Disney in summer. Florida heat plus a child sitting still in a stroller is a recipe for a miserable, overheated toddler. Florida sun is intense and most people don't think about lip protection. Burned lips by day three are no fun. SPF lip balm takes up almost no space and makes a real difference over a long day in the parks.

Walking 10-15 miles a day at Disney in Florida heat and humidity is a recipe for chafing. Body Glide has been our solution and it works better than anything else we've tried. Apply before you leave your hotel room in the morning on thighs, underarms, and anywhere skin rubs. Goes on dry, completely invisible, and won't stain your clothes.

My go-to rain poncho for Disney. Unlike cheap plastic ponchos that trap heat in Florida humidity, the Frogg Toggs material actually breathes. Large enough to cover your backpack underneath, reusable, and packs down to the size of a soda can. We bring one for every member of the family.

My personal power bank of choice, bought specifically for a Disney trip. The built-in USB-C and Lightning cables mean no hunting for cords at the bottom of your bag. Charges two devices at once, which is a lifesaver when your phone is dying from the Disney app and you still have hours left in the park. Now it goes everywhere with me.

For iPhone 12 and later users with MagSafe-compatible cases, this is the power bank to have. It snaps magnetically right onto the back of your phone so you can charge hands-free while waiting in line or watching a parade. No cables to fumble with. Compact enough to slip in a pocket, and 5,000mAh provides a full charge for most iPhones. My husband uses this one and won't go back to a traditional power bank.

Magic Bands serve as your park ticket, hotel room key, Lightning Lane access, and payment method all in one tap. Disney no longer includes them free with hotel stays. MagicBand+ starts around $35 for basic colors and up to $50+ for character designs. From a functionality standpoint all designs work exactly the same. The price difference is purely aesthetic.

One of our absolute can't-leave-home-without-it travel items. The Yoto Mini is a screen-free audio player: your child pops in a physical card and their favorite story or music plays instantly. No apps, no ads, no screen. We use it as part of our bedtime routine at home, so having it at Disney keeps things familiar and calming after an overwhelming day in the parks. It also doubles as a white noise machine and entertainment for long car rides. They even make a Disney bundle.

Disney hotel rooms are wonderful but they're not designed for toddlers who roll in their sleep. Disney resort pools are a great way to unwind after a long day in the parks, but the hotel towels leave something to be desired. We also toss one in the park bag. After a Florida rainstorm or a water ride, having a towel on hand is a lifesaver. Packable microfiber towels fold down to easily fit in your bag, dry in minutes, and are just as absorbent as a regular towel. Grab one per person plus one for the park bag.
