My go-to for water parks, pool days, and beach trips. After trying several bags this is the one I kept coming back to. Large enough to hold everything for the whole family, with four exterior pockets and an interior zippered compartment so everything has a place. The breakaway zipper zips fully shut to keep things contained on the go. Water-resistant, wipes clean easily, and stands on its own. It's been in my rotation for years.

Burned feet on hot pavement can ruin a water park day faster than anything. Merrell is my water shoe brand of choice for the whole family. Durable, quick-drying, and grippy on wet surfaces. We have a pick for every age.

Standard goggles force you to choose between eye protection and sun protection. The Speedo Sunny G solves that. It looks and feels like sunglasses but works as a goggle, with anti-fog lenses and full UV protection. The kids version is sized for smaller faces with a bungee strap that won't pull hair. The adult version mirrors the kids design so the whole family can match.

Swimmer's ear is not a souvenir you want to bring home. Silicone ear plugs are significantly better than foam. They mold to your ear, create a proper seal, and stay in all day through slides and wave pools. Mack's is the number one doctor-recommended brand and the official earplug of USA Swimming. Available in adult and kids sizes.

Water park lockers can cost $15-20 a day. This is the smarter solution. The Master Lock portable safe attaches to your lounge chair with a steel cable and four-digit combination, securing your phone, wallet, and cards while you're on the slides. Water-resistant foam interior, earbud port for charging while locked, and compact enough for any bag. I spotted someone using one and immediately ordered it. It pays for itself after one trip.

If you want your phone with you in the water rather than locked in the safe, this is the pouch to have. IPX8 certified waterproof with a dual-lock seal. Full touchscreen use and camera access through the clear TPU material. Adjustable lanyard keeps it around your neck. Comes in a 2-pack and fits virtually any phone including large models with cases on.

Not the most stylish item on this list but one of the most practical. Hooded microfiber ponchos that slip on over a wet swimsuit and get you dry fast. Full coverage length, a hood for warmth after water rides, and a front pocket for your phone. Available in toddler, kids, and adult sizes. We use them after every water park visit.

Always worth the bag space. Fold down small, dry in minutes, and just as absorbent as a regular towel. Useful for drying off between attractions or wiping down a wet lounge chair.

My go-to sunscreen for any day outside. It leaves a slight white cast but works so well we genuinely don't get burned. Unlike most sunscreens it doesn't sting your eyes when you sweat. Water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Works for the whole family. Available in a lotion or a convenient stick that glides on smoothly for mess-free coverage on faces, ears, and noses without stinging eyes. Great for quick reapplication on kids throughout the day.

Easy to forget, easy to pack. Burned lips by the end of a water park day are no fun. Takes up almost no space and makes a real difference.
